well.... not all Canadians are rude and crude.... but, we seem to be depicted as such........ sigh....most of us are just plain old regular folk with a decent education...who aren't constantly guzzling from a bottle or can.
We do crafts... make bears and dolls ...... golf, ride and race motorcycles and tinker on them, .....love to bake and cook and garden ... enjoy sitting on the patio listening to the birdies in the fountain and bird baths... ........ keep two blogs going and love to take photos .... and oh..yeh... hardly ever drink beer, but appreciate a nice wine instead.....
I just saw the first in a trilogy..... The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.... Swedish with English subtitles ... some graphic and brutal violence/sex scenes ...but, I thought it well done... and love the European sense of reality that the directors always seem to reach for ...and get.... and love the convincing unknown actors. Noomi absolutely became her character.... Of course, Hollywood is hurrying to cash in on the $$ and will bring out their own version as soon as possible I'm sure .... but, you just know it will pale in comparison....
